Master Lee stated he "began his martial arts journey at the age of three, when his father enrolled him in a traditional Taekwondo school." From an early age, Master Lee's father told him it was important to remember his Korean heritage by learning Korean martial arts. Over the years, he has trained in different styles, including Hapkido, Judo, Haedong Gumdo, ITF Taekwondo, and US Army Combatives, and he hopes to pass on the rich traditions of Korean Martial Arts to the next generations. Master Lee is also a former school teacher and includes his education experience to martial arts training.

Master Lee arrived at Korean American Martial Arts Academy in August 2018 and has been a valuable addition to class and training sharing his years of experience and technical knowledge. Master Lee continues his training in Taekwondo & Hapkido here at Korean American Martial Arts Academy and carries an additional position as Assistant Instructor.
